The memories of day to day life may be the most lasting. I want to make them count. The daily meals, the never-ending chores, the quiet evenings at home, the busy nights on the road, the drudgery and the delights of homemaking . . . I want them to remember home as a place of peace and refuge, and our lives together with joy and happiness. Doubtless, memories of the days of ill-tempers and hard times will remain, but let them be overshadowed by memories of the abundant life Christ desires for our family.
